It was dry for the Oak Apple Fête!

Having repaired and re-erected the tents that had blown down, the field was ready to welcome the procession that had gathered at Townend Oak and done a circuit of the village.

The Nitch ladies danced again ......

....and among the many stalls and activities (including cards, hand decorated items, plants, hunt the fiver and of courses tea and cake), there was a good old-fashioned coconut shy!
