Fishing for friends at Family@4 21/4/24

At St Andrew's South Newton this Sunday we had a lovely time with a large fishing net and some paper fish, thinking about the friends Jesus made to help him make God's love known. We sang songs and accompanied them with noisy instruments, and had fun thinking about what we were grateful for as well as asking God to bless our week ahead. All this was topped off with a fabulous tea provided by the wonderful Nikki Softley, which we enjoyed while sticking and colouring. Children and adults made new friends and the new space at St Andrew's proved friendly and welcoming and ideal for this kind of relaxed gathering. Thanks to Gill for leading us.
