AN EARLY TASTE OF CHRISTMAS at Berwick St James' Reading Room
There was a real buzz in the Reading Room on the 24th November as the village showed just how creative its residents are! There were plants (raising money for Cancer Research UK), and pottery, hand-sown items, home made conserves and lovely cakes - to name but a few. The welcome was warm, the raffle had great prizes, some donated by local businesses, and very tasty mulled apple juice. Well done Berwick!

Cafe Celebrates Henryk's 100th!
On 30th October, family and friends gathered in St Giles’ to celebrate the 100th birthday of Henryk Trybus, who had reached that awesome milestone on 27th October. The afternoon was hosted by the Cafe team, whose wonderful bakers had put together a fantastic array of cakes (thank you!) and the church was buzzing with laughter and chat. Congratulations Henryk, and if you ever want to share your secret, there’ll be a long queue to learn it!

After the service, we trooped across to the school hall, where we were greeted by the gorgeous aro
