The Class of 2024!

nickandyvonne

Great Wishford school held its Leavers' service on 19th July, the last day of term. It was also the last day as primary school pupils for Year 6, and for the Head, moving on to pastures new. It was an emotional event, with children, their families and staff all with tears in their eyes at various points. The children shared their favourite (and not so favourite!) memories of school, from the day they they arrived to the present, and also reflected on what they were looking forward to in their new schools. Rosettes were given to each child in recognition of their most positive traits. It was rounded off with Bibles given out and a short service with a blessing to see them on their way. At the very end, we were treated to a slide show of photos taken throughout their time at school, generating lots of smiles and laughter!
